Database Developer
An international online game publisher
For our partner - an international online game publisher and market leader in Russia and the CIS. Since 2007, they have been successfully developing their own gaming platform, home to legendary titles such as Lineage II, Aion, and Ragnarok Prime Online. They also launch new projects every year, including Gran Saga, BnS NEO, and others.
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join their team and design, develop, and maintain corporate data warehouses and analytics systems.
• Data Architecture: designing data architecture across multiple logical layers; developing logical and physical data models; designing data marts for business intelligence/visualization and self-service data management.
• Pipeline Development: developing and maintaining ETL packages in SSIS for Microsoft SQL Server (data loading, transformation, and migration); creating and maintaining DAGs in Apache Airflow for data processing orchestration; executing Python ETL scripts; orchestrating hybrid infrastructure and managing data flows between SQL Server, DWH, and analytics systems.
• Communication & Collaboration: building effective communication with various stakeholder groups; developing collaboration workflows in Jira/Confluence.
Business Data Analytics: developing dashboards and reports in Apache Superset; creating analytical data marts for business users; optimizing queries for analytics systems.
• Data Storage & Formats: DBMS: PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB; S3-compatible object storage (MinIO); OLAP systems — ClickHouse (required).
• Programming Languages: Python (primary), SQL (advanced level).
• Orchestration & ETL: Apache Airflow.
• Infrastructure & Version Control: Git (GitLab).
• BI Systems: Apache Superset, Metabase.
• Machine Learning (MLOps): familiarity with the TensorFlow or PyTorch ecosystem, Spark MLlib for integrating ML models into pipelines.
• Analytical mindset; attention to detail; proactivity and self-sufficiency; accountability and ability to drive tasks to meaningful results; ability to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Official employment under the Russian Labor Code (accredited IT company);
• Working hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00–19:00;
